Fascia Release for Neck and Shoulders with Tricia Kull (Join Online LIVE or Receive the Recording)

Do you carry tension in your shoulders or do you have neck pain? If so, you are not alone. Tight shoulders and neck pain are common symptoms of modern living, whether from daily activities or mental/emotional stress.

In this accessible fascia release practice, we will review the anatomy of the neck, upper back and shoulders. You will be guided through simple sequences to release fascia throughout the entire body, since the fascia net is all connected. Special focus and specific techniques will be given to release the fascia of the neck and shoulders. You will learn fundamental self-care to release tension and create space for more easeful range of motion.

Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, blood vessels, and nerves. When it’s healthy, fascia allows your muscles to slide and glide as you move, but when your fascia gets tight and stuck, it can restrict your movement and cause pain.  In this class, we will release layers of fascia throughout the body’s fascia net using simple props, techniques, and yoga poses, while giving special focus to the release of the neck and shoulders.  The goal of this class is to release fascial “stuck-ness,” decrease tension, and improve glide between the tissues for greater ease of movement.

This practice will be on the floor. Everyone is welcome and no previous yoga experience needed to join.

Cost: $20 - This workshop will be offered LIVE online and all who register will receive a recording to enjoy (or re-enjoy) at your convenience in the next 7 days.
