Hetta Welch, RMP

Hetta is a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga instructor. She believes strongly in the power of body-centered practices and their ability to heal and create lasting change in the body, mind and spirit.  Hetta studied massage therapy at the Berkana Institute while living in Colorado.  She is also certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, using the Vodder Technique, and is currently studying CranioSacral Therapy with The Upledger Institute.  Hetta works with her clients to design a treatment plan that fits each individual’s needs and wellness goals.  

Hetta offers Lymphatic Massage and CranioSacral Therapy at Roots & River Yoga on Mondays from 3:00pm-9:00pm.

Kasey Cecchini

Whether you’re an athlete striving for peak performance, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to feel more at ease in your body, Kasey is committed to supporting you every step of the way.

With over a decade of experience, Kasey draws from her training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage. A 2010 graduate of the Florida School of Massage, she completed 1,000 hours of education and earned a specialty certificate in orthopedic massage. Her expertise has led her to work with a diverse range of clients, from those with chronic pain to elite athletes.

Kasey collaborates alongside general practitioners, athletic trainers, physical therapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists to ensure the best possible outcomes for her clients. She specializes in sports massage to address performance-related injuries and muscle tension while also focusing on chronic pain relief. Techniques like Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Deep Tissue massage are central to her work, helping clients manage conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and repetitive strain injuries.

Known for her ability to deliver deep, therapeutic work with a gentle and intuitive touch, Kasey creates a safe and restorative space for every client. As a lifelong learner, she continues to expand her knowledge to ensure each client receives the highest standard of care.

Kasey offers massage at Roots & River Yoga on Fridays from 8:00am-2:00pm and select times on Saturdays.

Dr. Rebecca Dimmerling, D.Ac, L.Ac, Dipl.Ac (NCCAOM)

Dr. Rebecca Dimmerling of Mountain View Acupuncture, is a certified practitioner in Chinese herbal medicine and nationally board-certified acupuncturist. She is committed to assist you in transforming your health and well-being.

Rebecca’s journey in healthcare began as an Emergency Medical Technitian (EMT) and evolved through her military service as a medic and nurse. It was during this time that she witnessed the profound benefits of battlefield acupuncture, a transformative experience that propelled her to dedicate her career to integrative medicine. Rebecca earned both her master’s and doctorate in acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and has become a passionate educator, serving as adjunct faculty and a research analyst.

Tanya Pederson, DC, LMT

Dr. Tanya graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1998 and Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2005. With 25 years of experience, she understands the importance of a holistic, whole-body approach to health. Using gentle effective techniques in areas of chiropractic, massage therapy,  dry needling and cupping, Dr. Pederson addresses a variety of health conditions. Tracey Kuhns

Tracey is an ACE certified personal trainer, life coach and Reiki practitioner. She operated her own coaching and training business for 20 years, passionately assisting people transform their lives in the most healthy way possible.

She eventually gravitated toward energetic healing and trauma release healing. Tracey is a Level 2 reiki practitioner, certified in somatic and axiatonal alignment healing and is an ordained priestess. She incorporates coaching, mentoring and energy and trauma healing for her clients.

Her biggest strength in supporting her clients is that she herself has experienced many of the personal struggles and traumas that many of her clients are going through or have gone through. She is looking forward to being a resource and healer for Brunswick and surrounding communities.
