10 Week Series
January 8th - March 11th
Mondays 4:30-5:30pm
Now that we have gained an understanding of Tai-Ji principles, body mechanics, and movement by practicing "Grasp the Sparrow’s Tail," and the first third of the Zheng Man Qing style. We will continue building the sequence.
In the Yang 37 continuation series, we will break down each movement of the form and practice them individually, focusing on proper alignment, balance, and direction. We will also explore the martial applications of each movement to deepen our understanding of Tai Chi as a martial art.
As we progress through the form, we will work on refining movements and cultivating a sense of flow and relaxation in our practice. We will also discuss the philosophy behind Tai Chi and how it can be applied to our daily lives for improved health, wellness, and stress reduction.
By the end of the class, you will have a solid foundation in the Zheng Man Qing style of Tai Chi and be able to perform the 37 movements with confidence. You will also have a deeper understanding of the principles and philosophy behind this ancient art and how it can benefit your mind, body, and spirit.
Cost: $180 (10 week series)
