The Wolf Moon received its name to honor these noble warriors of the wilderness and mark the beginning of their mating season. January is a time of great stillness and peace in nature, holding opportunities for us to acknowledge the beauty within silence and hibernation. It is a time to simplify and embrace these days of quiet solitude, but also to let out the howls deep within that are longing to be acknowledged.
At this gathering, we will align with the energy of this full moon so that we may harness the potency of all it has to offer. We will briefly discuss the themes associated with the January Wolf Moon, then find our way to and Yin and Restorative Yoga practice accompanied by literature and readings regarding the wolf archetype. We close our practice with a guided meditation designed for deep rest and relaxation.
No previous yoga experience required.
