Start the day with thanks-giving. Take a break from preparations. Sneak away for a few moments away by yourself to center. Practice with a loved one who is home for the holiday. Set the foundation of gratitude for the rest of the day.
In the season of embodying deep gratefulness, one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves is consistently slowing down to reground thoughts, emotions, body and psyche. Such practices allow us to open ourselves up to the beauty of the present moment - in its joys and complexities.
This gentle yoga practice will release tension in the body/mind through a mindful series of poses connected to meditative breathing that will anchor the heart and prepare you for what the day will unfold.
