Share a meaningful ritual on Earth Day with guides Lauren and Suzanne and enjoy a forest bathing walk, tea, and sound bath at Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship. This 884 acre property located just south of Harpers Ferry will become one of Virginia’s newest state parks, called Sweet Run.
You will be guided to awaken your senses through exploring nature on this 3-4 mile walk along the Farmstead Loop and adjacent trails. A series of invitations and mindful meditations will be offered, which you can adapt in any way that feels right to you. We will end with a forest tea and sound healing on the banks of Piney Run Creek or on the banks of Golden Pond.
Participants should bring:
Hiking poles are recommended (we will have some to lend)
Small backpack
Comfortable layers for the weather that day
Hiking, tennis or sturdy comfortable shoes
Water bottle and insulated mug

Lauren Lang is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide who is trained in Wilderness First Aid. Suzanne Cervarich is an Angel Reiki Master and certified Sound Practitioner. Lauren and Suzanne create peaceful and restorative experiences within nature through sensory immersions which opens space for participants to connect to their inner wisdom.
Participants will receive special information/waiver from Lauren and Suzanne to gather pertinent information pre-hike.
