The March Full Moon has been given many native names to signal winter’s end is imminent, such as Crow Moon, Worm Moon, Sap Moon, and Lenten Moon. The crows start to become more vocal, earthworms leave behind their shells as they emerge from deep within the ground, and robins vocalize their songs as the harbingers of springtime. We as humans also begin to emerge more vibrantly from the dormancy of winter. Our time of quiet reflection and contemplation has supported us in reserving energy to bloom into the full expression of all that has culminated emotionally and physically during wintertime.
At this gathering, we will align with the energy of the full moon so that we may harness the potency of all it has to offer. We will briefly discuss the themes associated with the March Crow Moon, then find our way to a Restorative and Yin Yoga practice accompanied by sound therapy and mantra,. We will seal our practice with a guided meditation designed for deep rest and relaxation.
No previous yoga experience required.
