Fire & Water Forest Bathing and Sound Bath with Campfire on the Banks of the Potomac River with Lauren Lang and Suzanne Cervarich

  • Jefferson, MD, 21755 United States (map)

Balance the busyness of the season with relaxation along the banks of the Potomac River. Ease into a relaxed state through a series of forest bathing invitations along the Potomac River. Enjoy some of the many benefits of forest bathing, such as increased mental clarity and mood, a boost in immune system function, and regulation of heart rate and blood pressure. Then gather around the campfire for forest tea and experience the soothing vibrations and sounds of singing bowls.

We will walk 1 ½ flat miles along the C & O Canal Towpath.

Please bring/wear:

  • Comfortable layers (one more than you think you need)

  • Warm hat

  • Hiking or sturdy comfortable shoes

  • Water bottle

  • Small backpack

  • Hiking poles if desired (we will have some to lend)

**Please avoid wearing strongly scented lotions and perfumes. They can attract bugs, and prevent you from noticing the more subtle scents of the natural world
