Adventures in Music: For Kids 3-5 Years and Their Parent/Caregiver with Mandy Pankratz

  • Roots & River Yoga 17 West Potomac Street Brunswick, MD, 21716 United States (map)

Fridays, 10:45am-11:30am

6 Week Session: July 8th - August 12th

Children love music. We can see it in the way their eyes light up and instinctively bob their heads and dance. Of the many benefits of listening to and playing with musical instruments in early childhood, the most important by far is brain development.

Early exposure to music has been proven to:

  • Improve fine and gross motor skills

  • Develop language and math skills

  • Promote self-regulation of emotions

  • Build self-confidence and self-esteem

  • Encourage teamwork and relationships skills

  • Develop a foundation of self-discipline

Adventures in Music is a child and parent/caregiver theme-based class for preschoolers ages 3-5 years. Led by musician and music educator, Mandy Pankratz, each class will incorporate stories, singing, dancing, listening to music, and art.  Children will have the opportunity to use their imaginations and explore a variety of musical instruments.

Over the course of 6 weeks, we will explore movement and expression based on scientific themes such as: The Jungle, Space, Ocean Animals, and more!

Bring your little one and enjoy the sensory-rich experience of Adventures in Music and build musical memories that will last a lifetime.

Cost: $90/6 week session
