Our modern pace of life can lead to overwhelm and anxiety, as many are trying to keep up with an ever-increasing number of responsibilities and distractions. As a result, our sympathetic nervous systems become activated, releasing cortisol and adrenaline, and leading to tension in the mind, body, and spirit. Wellness practices like massage, acupuncture, yoga, and meditation help the nervous system to return to homeostasis by eliciting our relaxation response and providing the nourishment we need to lead healthy, mindful lives.
Bluebird Yoga and Wellness’ signature Rest Next delivers a one-of-a-kind wellness experience in a “spa-like” environment, by rotating participants through stations that combine several wellness modalities including massage, acupuncture, Restorative Yoga, and guided meditation.
This event is designed to assist participants to down-regulate the nervous system, calm the body-mind, and facilitate a deep sense of rest and healing.
While in the ‘Nest,’ each participant will receive:
20-minute chair massage by a licensed and certified massage therapist
40-minute personalized acupuncture treatment from a licensed and certified acupuncturist
20+ minute Restorative Yoga session with comfy props and blankets
20 minute guided relaxation
Each treatment will be customized to meet the needs of each participant so that each person can move back into their lives feeling nourished, relaxed, and grounded.
