The psoas is one of the largest muscles in the body and the only one that connects the upper body to the lower body. The psoas affects every aspect of your life from your structural and back health to emotional wellbeing.
In this workshop:
Learn relationship between this deeply embedded muscle and your emotions, the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system.
Learn how the psoas affects the rest of your body from the way you stand, walk and sit.
Learn the causes and effects of a challenged psoas and how to release it.
Study how the psoas moves in yoga asana and how becoming more aware of this muscle we will learn to move more freely from deep within our body and throughout our life.
Creating psoas awareness can open the door to a more sensitive attunement to your body's inner signals as well as lead to more fluid movement and a greater sense of inner wellness.
